Brandon Phifer started his Kiwanis Journey about 6 years ago when joining CKI due to his fiancé Chelsie Higdon getting him involved as a club member. Since then he’s continued that journey beside her and recently joined the Kiwanis Club of Silicon Hills board of directors.
Brandon is a Content Moderator Contractor working for YouTube under Accenture keeping the platform safe for children which is aligned with what Kiwanis is all about keeping children safe. In addition to his job, Brandon is an Eagle Scout, an avid gamer, and has always loved serving others. He looks forward to the upcoming term supporting his fiancé as she steps up to be President for the club Oct 1st continuing his director role making a larger impact in the community.

We’re an organization of volunteers serving the community and children of greater Austin, Texas.
Started out our Saturday Morning with Service!
This morning, 7 members across Key Club, CKI, and Silicon Hills Kiwanis came together for our Restock the School event. In just about an hour, we packed 20 backpacks 🎒with supplies for an elementary school in need and a few extras left! ✏️📚
It’s amazing what can happen when the Kiwanis family works together. Thank you to everyone who showed up, pitched in, and helped make sure local students have the supplies they need to succeed! 🌟

🌳 Service in action at Rosewood Park with the Austin Parks Foundation!
Three members of the Kiwanis Club of Silicon Hills; plus one little helper joined forces with the Austin Parks Foundation and fellow volunteers to give the trees at Rosewood Park some much-needed TLC.
In just two hours, we helped mulch around 25 trees! 🌳💪
A little teamwork, a lot of mulch, and one morning well spent caring for a park our Austin community can enjoy this summer!
We love opportunities to roll up our sleeves, serve together, and make a difference right here in our community. 💙
