2025 Winn Butterfly Festival

The butterfly festival for Winn Montessori is a school recruitment, community-building event, and partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Silicon Hills and the Winn PTA. Kiwanians and volunteers will provide free hot dogs and popcorn to community attendees. The Kiwanis Club will also host a butterfly exhibit in the entrance to the school library. This year’s event is on Saturday, April 26 from 10am-2pm

Saturday Shifts

Morning Shift

We’ll have a setup outside with a grill for hot dogs and preparation. Inside the school we will have warmers and a popcorn machine. Please pick one work area and avoid creating an overlap. Once a shift is filled, it will not be available for selection. Morning shifts include time for setup. Afternoon shifts include time for breakdown/packing.

Morning Leads | 8:30 – 11am

This should be a Kiwanian or Advisor. If this is selected, other tent roles will be hidden for this shift.

Overseeing concessions of hot dogs and popcorn, refreshing supply of hot dogs, directing donations and admission for the butterfly exhibit, face painting or crafting for kids, assisting in the exhibit. If this is selected, other roles will be hidden for this shift.
