The Kiwanis Club of Silicon Hills celebrated a year of 450 hours of service and impact, community partnerships, and supporting the next generation of leaders.
🎓 Congratulations to our Sophomore of the Year honorees: ⭐ Aarthi Govindaraj — $250 Scholarship Award! ⭐️ Rythmay Girdhar — $250 Scholarship Award! 🏆 Audryn Lee — Top Candidate & $600 Scholarship Award!
We also celebrated our Club Award recipients: 💙 Outstanding Member — Clay Ramlow 💛 Outstanding Board Support — Brandon Phifer 🏆 Kiwanian of the Year — Bill Gordon
We recognized John Cano and Marcelo Urieta for their years of mentorship to Texas-Oklahoma CKI and celebrated our club’s support of the CKI Legacy Fund.
Finally, we officially passed the leadership of Silicon Hills from outgoing President Chelsie Phifer to incoming President John Cano!🎉
Thank you to everyone who made this year possible. Here’s to another year of service, friendship, leadership, and impact! 💙💛
This morning, 7 members across Key Club, CKI, and Silicon Hills Kiwanis came together for our Restock the School event. In just about an hour, we packed 20 backpacks 🎒with supplies for an elementary school in need and a few extras left! ✏️📚
It’s amazing what can happen when the Kiwanis family works together. Thank you to everyone who showed up, pitched in, and helped make sure local students have the supplies they need to succeed! 🌟
🌳 Service in action at Rosewood Park with the Austin Parks Foundation!
Three members of the Kiwanis Club of Silicon Hills; plus one little helper joined forces with the Austin Parks Foundation and fellow volunteers to give the trees at Rosewood Park some much-needed TLC.
In just two hours, we helped mulch around 25 trees! 🌳💪
A little teamwork, a lot of mulch, and one morning well spent caring for a park our Austin community can enjoy this summer!
We love opportunities to roll up our sleeves, serve together, and make a difference right here in our community. 💙
