William was born in the village of Sapli-Sépingo in northeastern Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast). Once he finished his elementary school education, he was sent to middle school 40 miles from his native village to Bondouko. Since his middle school days when he was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church, he’s maintained a strong connection with his faith. After completing high school, he joined the Navy of the Ivory Coast and trained in Toulon, France. In February of 1992, William emigrated to the United States, studied English and Nursing, and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse. He has worked in several nursing homes in San Antonio, McKenna Memorial Hospital in New Braunfels, Gracy Woods Nursing Center, Saint David’s Medical Center, and Round Rock Medical Center.
Upon becoming a U.S. citizen in 2006, he returned to France to revisit areas where he spent his younger years. He’s also had the chance to travel to Europe again in 2011; this time visiting France, Italy, and England.
Since 2006, he’s worked as a home health nurse with Austin-based Gilead Home Health. He enjoys the home setting and the opportunity to develop friendships with some of his clients/patients.
William is married to Maria Corazon. She is from the Philippines and they share a home in Pflugerville with Maria’s son, Paul Viray. William has one daughter, Olga Boitenin, who has a son PRINCE Charles. A native French speaker, William is also moderately fluent in Spanish.
In his free time, William enjoys travelling, working out at 24 Hour Fitness, taking yoga classes, and when he’s not working on Sundays, attending mass at St. William Catholic Church in Pflugerville. Faith is important to the family and they enjoy the presence of the Lord in their lives.
Welcome, William to Kiwanis!

We had a great turnout of members, guests, and new members at our annual meeting!
This is our special meeting mid-way through the Kiwanis year where we celebrate our Sophomore of the Year winner and hold our club elections. Continuing our current streak of women in leadership, Chelsie was elected as president-elect for 2024-25 and we’re excited for her leadership of the club in 2025!
This year’s meeting was and extra special one where we recognized Ruth Ann Cossey and all of the women in our club with the Women In Kiwanis award. Lieutenant Governor Rebecca also joined us to present Marcelo and Gio with their pins recognizing our club as distinguished for the 2022-23 year.
Special thanks to @elmercadoburnet for hosting us on short notice with great food and service!
We’ve already accomplished so much in the past six months and we’re looking forward to great successes ahead! ... See MoreSee Less

Congratulations to all, and thank you for your servant leadership!
We had a great project today hosting the butterfly exhibit, making popcorn, and grilling hot dogs for Winn Montessori School’s second annual butterfly festival! We loved working with the staff and Winn Montessori PTA to make this a fun and exciting event to build community for the school.
Our club donated the butterflies and coloring books, Down Home Ranch graciously donated the flowers grown in their very own nursery (and will be planted on campus this week!), and kids enjoyed face painting, coloring, making seed balls, picking up free books, and more!
Also, a special thanks to Texas Circle K International for helping out and for Mnths KeyClub for working their snack stand. ... See MoreSee Less
