In order to carry out all the projects that our club is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Fundraising & Finances CommitteeBill GordonThis committee performs an annual financial audit of club accounts and reports to club leadership. They also oversee fundraising activities for the club.
Human & Spiritual Values CommitteeOversees implementation of Kiwanis Object 1: To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
Membership Growth, Retention & Education CommitteeThis committee oversees membership growth and retention.
Public Relations CommitteeThis committee oversees the club’s web presence, weekly newsletter, and all other communications/media promotion.
Scholarships Review CommitteeMarcelo Urieta-BravoReviews applications and selects one candidate for the annual Walter Hurst Sophomore of the Year Scholarship program
Service CommitteeGiovanna Alanis VegaThis committee oversees the planning of service projects, builds relationships with local agencies/non-profits, and connects the club with meaningful projects that will improve the community.
Service Leadership Programs CommitteeThis committee oversees training, advising, and support to our sponsored service leadership programs. Programs include Builders Club, Key Club, and Circle K (CKI).
Young Children Priority One (YCPO) & Youth Services CommitteeOversees implementation of YCPO projects and initiatives. Young Children Priority One focuses on children prenatal through age 5 through four areas:maternal and child health; child care and development; parent education and support; safety and pediatric trauma
